World Expo '88
This is a personal project prompted by a collection of family photos from World Expo ‘88. It was a lot of fun reminiscing upon this colourful period in Brisbane's history, and one which I think made a lasting impression on 80s kids growing up in Brisbane. For many of us it was our first point of contact with the arts, world culture, monorails, undercuts, Memphis design and of course matching tracksuit ensembles. This project received a Frankie Good Stuff Award for art and illustration in 2018.
